First floor walk-up, full kitchen, huge living room with upright piano and one bathroom on Columbia Street in the Carroll Gardens area. A tree-lined 10 min walk to the F/G train at Carroll Street and the B61 bus to downtown Brooklyn stops on the next block a few steps away. The NYC Ferry can be boarded at the end of the street at the entrance to Brooklyn Bridge Park, about a 15 min walk. The apartment is also steps from the Jalopy Theatre, a premier folk music venue as well as all of the other eclectic restaurants in the neighborhood. The rent is $50/night with NO FEE. I can promise that this is a perfect share w my sweet roomie Nick while I’m away. The bed is a double, all linens provided. It's a steal for NYC and in a great area with a wonderful neighborhood feel. It's a two floor building and I generally live in the apartment but will be abroad. Great for a person from out of town, or in between apartments, to settle somewhere with only a suitcase needed. The large 3rd bedroom, which functions as a studio/office, can be shared with roomie as a common workspace. a guest room and an office.
