This is a 6month lease take over starting March 1st (Flexible on start/move-in). $1500/mo, plus utilities (internet/electricity (AC)/gas (heat/stove)—approx. $160+—this will vary with season and usage.

The Space: 2 bed, dishwasher, washer dryer in basement, rooftop access, also has a patio out back; attentive landlord; quiet building with only 6 apartments; central AC; gas heat and stove. Large living room with three windows. Two kitties live here they are very social and friendly, you should love cats. Unfortunately no more kitties, open to discussing a small dog if desired.

Available room (approx. 12 x 9): Fits a Queen bed, desk/dresser, has a closet and window. I can send a video of the space when you reach out.

Incoming flatmate: LGBTQI+ and 35+ preferred—but open to all; Sober (preferred); No smoking; clean/tidy but not in a fixated way (in common/shared spaces); animal lover, fun/friendly/chill; looking to make your living space a resting place (not a party house) and wanting to connect with your flatmate. **Bonus points if you’re into meditation/astrology/ woo woo stuff.

About me: NB Lez animal lover, an early riser that works M-F; I clean as I go (but open to more structure if that’s your bag). Weekends I’m out of the apt during the day; I occasionally cook; I do prefer a clean/tidy kitchen—so I clean right after if I made a big meal/mess. Non-smoker/sober (not in recovery just don’t like alcohol).

I’m looking to create community with the incoming flatmate ( weekly/monthly check-in/meal sharing—open to discussing this further) we don’t have to be Bffs but there should be some sense of camaraderie, open communication, mutual respect, and laughs —you must make me laugh!
