This charming 1800s townhouse features hardwood floors, a farmhouse style kitchen, lots of bright light and original furniture pieces by Corbusier, George Nelson and Alvar Aalto. The historic landmark neighborhood was created by the Vanderbilt family for workers who built a grand train station on the river. Not long after, the station was lost to fire. But the quaint houses still remain. The nearby Village of Athens boasts a terrific cafe, fine dining, old-world natural wine shop and the best bakery in the Hudson Valley.

The house has WIFI, a dishwasher, washer and dryer, and beautiful back garden, with a feel that is chic, yet rustic, peaceful and comfortable. Other conveniences include filtered drinking water, Brooklinen sheets, AC window units in both bedrooms, and ceiling fans as the cooling option in the rest of house.
