Looking for two people to sign onto a March 1st lease for a 3bed/2bath apartment in a beautiful, large apartment in South Williamsburg.
The larger room is 11'6" x 15'9" with a walk in closet and ensuite bathroom. The rent for this room is $2100 per month.
The smaller room is 11'6" x 11'5" and has a door to the apartment's private back patio. This room shares a bathroom with one other person. The rent for this room is $1725 per month.
The apartment has a dishwasher, central heating and air, a large shared storage closet, an enormous private back patio, and an in unit laundry room! The apartment is on the 2nd floor of a 3 story building.
My current roommates are moving in with their partner/getting their own place, but we have loved living here for the past 3 years! We often say this is the best apartment we'll likely ever get to live in in New York.
We are located near several public transit options:
-Lorimer L/Montrose L trains, 10 minute walk
-Hewes St JMZ trains, 6 minute walk
-Broadway G train, 7 minute walk
-B48 Bus, 1 minute walk
-B43 Bus, 5 minute walk
Utilities and wifi are not included in the rent, they tend to be ~$75/month per person.
The landlord is asking for new renters to be committed to beginning the application process by February 10!
Katie (31 F) - I am a writer, though not professionally (yet!), and I work in Film/TV production. My current job is in Greenpoint and I've loved being able to bike to work during the warmer months. I love music, movies, spending time with friends, and cooking/being cooked for.
I moved to Williamsburg in 2017 not by choice and quickly grew to love the neighborhood that I now call home! I am originally from Atlanta, but surprisingly don't have a Southern accent.
I value a calm and friendly home environment and consider my home a place to recharge. That being said, I so enjoy spending the random nights in with my roommates catching up, sharing a meal, or watching a movie together. This is the optimal apartment for hosting dinner parties in the winter and barbecues in the summer, but I like to keep things on the more tame side :)
