Tastefully updated 1860's farmhouse on 5 rewilded acres,
less than 2 hours north of New York City. Quiet and private with good energy. "Such a great spot," and, "had a wonderful week in your home" are just some of the reviews we've received.
Nestled in a mountain hollow near world class food, bike paths, swimming, skiing, horse farms, the Appalachian Trail, and the Berkshires, this home is ideal for artists and creatives seeking a quiet retreat from the city. Comfortably sleeps up to 6, with three queen beds, a full kitchen (dual ovens, dishwasher, hood), two full radiant tile bathrooms, artesian/filtered spring water, on-demand hot water, fast Wi-FI, wireless stereo, AppleTV, solar power, birds and nature all around. Lots of nature.
Cooper Hollow was built by a Civil War veteran on land given for his service. After several years of repair work, we see ourselves as stewards, improving as we go so we and others can enjoy this natural retreat for years to come.
The house is being offered at $1050/week. Monthly/Daily rates available. Professional cleaning fee is $150 per stay. No companion animals permitted, with regrets.
