I'll be away upstate from Sunday October 20th through November 2nd. I'm open to shorter stays starting the 20th or close to it as well, for a prorated price.

I'm looking for someone to sublet my home, a large sunny apartment in a brownstone on 6th avenue.

This is a cozy railroad style two bedroom apartment in South Slope! There is a full bedroom with a queen bed, a desk office set-up a TV room with a giant squishy daybed which can sleep one person or a couple, a full living room with a couch that could also be sleepable, a full bath with a tub, and a full kitchen with in unit laundry and a dishwasher. There are two window unit ACs to cool the living room and bedroom.

Accessibility wise it's on the third floor--so two flights of stairs.

The 7th Avenue F/G train is a short walk away.

There are tons of cafes, restaurants, and bars in the neighborhood and I'd be happy to offer you my YMCA gym membership for the duration of the stay as well. It's a 15 minute walk to Prospect Park and Nitehawk Movie theater.

I'm a college professor and a writer.

Happy to answer any other questions!

I have several aquariums in the apartment with fish and snails which cannot be moved. You don't need to do anything for them--they'll have a vacation feeder (but I'd give a discount to someone willing to feed them daily instead.)

About This Lister

I'm a writer and a professor. The apartment is full of art and plants and records and books. It's a space meant for real living but I also keep it very clean. I have a large dog who lives with me the I am at home so folks with sensitive dog allergies might not want this to be their spot.
