Hello! I am looking to sublet my room in a beautiful Sunnyside apartment while I work through an unexpected personal situation abroad.

This is a well lit apartment on the second floor of a pre-war walkup where every room has a window. The place is very generously sized, fully furnished, and should be ready for move in any time. We have a big living room that is perfect for relaxing, a generous kitchen, and a cute bathroom with a big skylight. The apartment is technically a 3-bedroom but only two of us lived there, so we have one room that is a dedicated study/office space. Both of us are architects so we have been careful about the way the space is set up and hope you like it.

We're pretty centrally located in Sunnyside on a quiet street, one block from the 7 train that takes you to Grand Central in less than 15 minutes. The neighborhood is also well-located in terms of biking - you could get to Astoria, Long Island City, Greenpoint, and Manhattan all within 15 minutes on a bike. We're happy to show you the restaurants and shops we like around.

Rent is $1650 + utilities (around $100, give or take). This room is definitely available until February but the end date is flexible as we have an extra bedroom. We are open to accommodate your schedule as need be.
