The room is 6'8"x15', with a beautiful hardwood floor, 9' ceiling, two ceiling-high closets with tons of storage, and a large window. The apartment itself is a 4BR with 3 bathrooms, and you will share a bathroom with only one other roommate. The bedroom is just off the kitchen and entryway, with the bathroom nearby, so it often feels like having your own private suite in the apartment. It faces neighboring backyards and not the street. It will be semi-furnished, but optional if you have your own furniture.

Utilities and supplies are split evenly and range from $65-85 per person, trending higher in summer. We also share a cleaning service once a month, at about $50 per person.

The huge kitchen is a dream, with tons of cabinets, counter space, a full-size refrigerator, and a window. The living room is enormous — 12'x22' — filled with light and plants, and the comfiest navy velvet couch. The bathroom is airy and spacious (for New York City), and wonderful to take showers or baths in, with fresh air coming in from the window, and views of treetops and brownstones.

The location is directly on tree-lined Clinton ave. One block away from the G and the C train. In 10mins walking distance to Barclay's center. There are lots of cute cafes, bars and supermarkets around.

There's a lot of charm throughout the building and apartment. There is a super on site, a laundry room with 3 washing machines and two large dryers, and a package delivery cabinet.

As for the people who live here: We are 3 young professionals (f), ranging 25-36, plus Zelda a friendly and feisty cat (so no other pets please). Katrin is a Graphic Designer, Chase is a Life Coach and Doula, and Suliya is a freelance filmmaker and full time Client Advisor.

We all work full time and enjoy our solitude but also chat in common spaces such as the kitchen and living room from time to time. The apartment is so large and well laid out that we never really feel like we're living on top of one another. We like the apartment to feel like home and an oasis in the stressful city life. This means we like to keep the place clean and we all do our best to contribute to the space and a good atmosphere.
