I'm subletting my very special Hunter's Point LIC apartment while I’m away. It'll be available for the following dates:
- Tuesday, May 27th to Monday, June 16th
- Tuesday, July 1st to Tuesday, July 29th
- I'm also open to subletting from May 27th to July 29th, and adjusting the start/end by a couple or so days
The highlight of the space is the beautiful garden, a tranquil retreat maintained by my award-winning landscape architect neighbor, Nigel. This rare city oasis offers a peaceful escape for relaxation, complete with a teahouse and a pond with a waterfall, koi fish, and lilypads. Shared only with Nigel (and his zen cat YouOkay), it also boasts a private deck perfect for entertaining, yoga, or simply unwinding. The private deck extends your living space outdoors, ideal for morning coffee, evening cocktails, or enjoying the fresh air.
The space itself is a 1 BR railroad style apartment, equipped with everything you need to cook, chill, and work. A dedicated WFH setup includes a 27-inch monitor and standing desk, with Wi-Fi extending to the deck and garden. Built in 1910, the building retains its original charm with a tin ceiling in the kitchen and exposed brick accents, adding a unique and historic touch. The neighborhood is safe and community-oriented, with a wide array of restaurants, bars, and cafes all within walking distance.
I've worked hard to create a cheery haven and I'm looking for someone who will appreciate the space as much as I do + take care of my plant babies. This unique apartment is perfect for someone looking for a peaceful urban retreat. Contact me today to secure your stay.
One stop from Grand Central on the 7 train and 1 stop from Greenpoint Ave on the G, giving you quick access to Manhattan and Brooklyn.
If you're not familiar, LIC has an incredible walking/running trail + park on the water (with 2 ferry stops) steps from my apartment.
300 mb/s Verizon Fios Wi-Fi, TV with Netflix + HBO Max.
Two powerful air conditioners, one at each end of the apartment.
ALL UTILITIES INCLUDED, including FREE laundry in the basement.
Trader Joe’s and Foodcellar supermarkets 3 blocks away.
