My wife and I are looking for someone to sublet our fully furnished home. It's a massive 4 bedroom house (+ office with pull-out bed!) with a big two story, two car garage (the upstairs could be used as an artist studio!) and an additional shed in the backyard. The lot size is about 2 acres. We are interested in renting out the home through the end of the year with the possibility of signing a long-term lease. ABOUT THE PROPERTY: The main level of the home features a massive kitchen perfect for entertaining and cooking, with two sinks and two stoves, along with a giant kitchen island perfect for hanging and cooking. Walk through the kitchen on to the sprawling deck to dine outside overlooking the property, lay on a lounge, or hang around the fire pit down the steps on the grass. Through the kitchen you will find the dining room with a large designer table big enough to fit your group. Attached to the dining area is a screened porch, perfect for your morning coffee. Next to the dining area you will see our unforgettable 10-piece couch (described as the comfiest couch in the world, by a few) perfect for your friends and family to watch a movie, or play some games. The living room has a wood burning fireplace, smart TV, and bluetooth speaker. The second level of the home can be accessed down the stairs of the main level and past the laundry area, or through its own entrance in the front of the home. This floor can operate as its own apartment, with its very own living room, smart TV, full bathroom, kitchen, dining area, and 2 separate queen sized bedrooms.

The home is ideal for entertaining and the open layout allows for this. It's a 15-20 min drive from Hudson (Amtrak), ~30 min to Kingston, ~20 to Saugerties, ~5 min to downtown Catskill, and more. Hunter and Windham ski mountains are close by, as well as tons of amazing swimming holes and hiking trails.

Hi! My wife and I bought this house a few years ago by the skin of our teeth and are absolutely in love with the Hudson Valley. Our plan was to live here but both of us work in entertainment and ultimately had to park ourselves back in the city. I am an art director and my wife is a music supervisor—though we both have a long list of hobbies that include playing music, collecting vintage clothing, collecting records, writing, drawing, and so on...you get the idea. As such, you'll notice that great care has been taken to make the space aesthetically pleasing, comfortable, and conducive to creativity! Our goal is to continue to improve the house and the property, so we are open to any and all suggestions. Do you want to build a garden? Fill the chicken coup with some chickens? Make the shed an art or music studio? We love that!
