The space is a large, unfurnished room in a 3bdr with its own half bath and walk-in closet. Rent is $1000 a month with around $70 a month in utilities. Heat and water included. You would pay a prorated amount for the month of January for $832. No broker fee or security just prorated first month’s rent upon signing.
The room and apartment get a lot of sunlight during the day. The blinds in the room will be repaired and the carpet will be deep cleaned prior to move in. The room comes with an air conditioner as well.
Located near multiple supermarkets and corner stores. Three shopping malls within distance of a short bus ride. 5 min bus ride to Flushing Main St with many specialty shops, restaurants and more.

About This Lister
About the roommates: Erin (26, she/her, cis straight) is a Filipina grad student. Tas (24, they/he, trans and queer) is Black and works in the NYPL and enjoys crocheting and going out with friends. Both roommates work and go to school during the week and may be out during weekends.

Rental requirements
You must make $70k or more and complete a credit and background check. You must also submit proof of income (a work contract, letter from HR or management, a W2 etc). Must be okay with a chore structure. POC preferred but anyone can inquire.
Pets Policy
Pets allowed, will have to discuss with current roommates on what they are comfy with. I currently live in the space with two cats and they were welcome.
