Hey! My name is Alex, I moved to New York some months ago, and am currently looking for a sublease from Mid-October until the end of November (or Mid-January, if it's really cool; open for shorter stays if it's reallyreally cool). If you have either a room or, even better, an entire flat, that is ready to move in and has a desk to work on for max 1.7k, let's talk! :)

As for me, I recently finished my PhD on the rights of nature (my colleagues call it: the rights of rocks) and got a grant at NYU to turn my ideas into a book. I have been working and travelling most of the Summer and early fall and am looking for a space to call home again.

Lived in multiple places around the City. Every Saturday, I volunteer in East Village and I do want to continue doing that. If you have a space that is nearby that would be amazing. But also eager to explore other parts of New York.

Will be out of the flat for most of the day most days but I do look for a place to come home to and relax. Will definitely not bring the party home but do like to have occasional guests. I have been sharing flats for over a decade now and never had any issues concerning my cleanliness or anything else. In fact, I was able to corrupt all existing complaints with my cooking skills (I did my PhD in Tuscany, so there is that). If you are up for the challenge, I will teach you Watten, the game of my people.
