What I am looking for in roomie:
Clean people and open communication is super important to me. I’m happy to be friends with my roommates and hang, but it’s also important to me that everyone has their own stuff going on. I think a good mix is healthy. Ideally looking for people in their late 20s – 30s but not a dealbreaker. No cats or dogs with fur please, I am allergic. My dog has wiry hair. Small dogs are ok. I prefer someone for long term, but short term is okay too.
A Review from my current Roomie:
Ideal neighborhood if you love nature with parks and beautiful views of Manhattan nearby. There are plenty of bars, restaurants, stores and supermarkets close to the apartment. Great area if you bike, Citi Bike station is 3 min from the apt. I've been living in this apartment for 10 months. I'm from Switzerland, I'm currently 26, I finished my architectural studies in Switzerland a little over a year ago and I was working for an artist here in New York. I'm used to doing various activities during the week such as dancing, running, ... and I enjoy meeting up with my roommate at the end of the day to share a cozy evening together. She's the leaseholder, in her early thirties, works mainly from home, often in her bedroom, and has a very friendly little dog. The apartment is quiet and clean.
This is my home and I hope it will become yours too! Please send social media links or some info about yourself, Thanks :)
About me:
I’m 34, I’ve lived in Greenpoint for 7 years and NYC for 10. I work as a Sales Rep for Pearson Education with a hybrid schedule. I love to go thrifting, do yoga, and explore other neighborhoods on the weekends. I have an active work and social life, but also like to have more quiet nights during the week. I have a small friendly dog named Milo, who's 9 years old and will become your best friend. He is super chill, sleeps all day, and is hypoallergenic.
