My home is a darling, stand-alone bungalow on the edge of Silverlake, in the burgeoning Virgil Village neighborhood. Walk to Sunset Junction, skip around the corner to Squirl and Courage bagels, or hop to yoga and wine and vintage shops in every direction. Situated at the top of a hill, see the Hollywood sign and Observatory from the bedroom window. And relax on the sunny patio....the perfect outdoor sanctuary in the city.

The cottage is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath bungalow with living room and full kitchen with a built-in breakfast nook. The front bedroom typically serves as an office / reading / yoga room, but can be set up with an air mattress if needed. Private patio on the side of the cottage, and a lovely courtyard where neighbors gather and let their puppies play in the evenings with a glass of wine. The neighborhood is a nice mix of things old and things new, a lovely cultural slice of the city.

These little bungalow-style apartments are a precious part of LA's history, and are harder and harder to find these days....ours is well-maintained and the community of kind and interesting neighbors is impossible to beat; it's a truly special place.

This cottage was redone prior to my moving in, it is clean and tidy and well-running, with new tiles, new sinks, new floors (hardwood). Furnished. All utilities and wifi included in rental price.

$150 cleaning fee upon completion of stay.

Laundry room in the property (quarters). Street parking (no city zones / stickers, best spots are on Hoover by the restaurant Jewel).
