Hello! I am looking for a roommate to fill a room in my 2br Greenpoint apartment for March 15th or April 1st move in. The first image is of the room currently. The room for rent is facing the back of the apartment and has a window that leads to the fire escape. It gets all of the afternoon sunlight. The room is not the biggest but large enough for a full size bed, dresser, and desk. There is a clothing rack and shelving unit left by previous roommate.

Shared space includes kitchen, bathroom and living room. Apartment is pretty much fully furnished except for your room. It is on the 2nd floor of a walk-up. Previous roommates and I have split cleaning duties in the apartment to each person cleaning the common areas (kitchen and bathroom) once a month, so the apartment gets cleaned every 2 weeks.

The apartment is located on beautiful Guernsey St (tree street!) between Norman and Meserole. It is 2 short blocks from the Nassau G train and 1 block from McCarren Park, Five Leaves, Beacon's Closet, Peter Pan doughnuts etc.

Looking for someone mature, easy going and respectful of the space. Someone who uses the apartment to unwind and not bring the party home. Feel free to share your social. Looking for like-minded people who might want to have dinner together on occasion but mostly do their own thing.

I am a straight male in my late 30s. I am full time fashion photographer and work 5 days a week. I get home around 5.30pm and cook dinner on most evenings (I cook and eat everything). I like to bike around the neighborhood when its warm enough. Kinda a foodie. To unwind on week nights I like to watch tv or play videogames.

I like to keep the apartment pretty tidy and try to wet mop the floors every 2-3 weeks. My only pet peeve is dirty dishes in the sink. I clean up and wash them immediately after I am done eating and expect the same of any potential roommate.
