Rent is $1800 (plus utils) a half block from the 1 subway and a block from Riverside Park, availably by April 1 (or slightly sooner). The room has two very sunny south facing windows with a nice view, and a large walk in closet.

The apartment has a bright and spacious open plan, and has a dishwasher and ceiling fans; laundry is in the basement.

The pre-war building has an excellent super and is full of lovely families. There is a small storage to rent, and a bike room (both for a small extra fee). Street parking is super easy.

It is 15 minutes walk to Columbia’s main campus and 2 minutes to the new campus. The 1 train is a half block away and the ABCD are 12 minutes walk. Riverside Park and the Hudson River trail are a block away, as are a dozen restaurants.

Your roommate will be a Brazilian woman in her 30s who is a nanny and dancer (you will have to meet to make sure you’ll get along before we make any agreement). Must be LGBTQ-friendly, and BLM. Social people welcome but party animals who bring it home are not a good fit.
