I have been in this beautiful studio for the last decade.
It is full of natural light from a wall of street facing windows that the afternoon sun streams through.
I am a photographer and share the space with a painter who works mon-fri so the space is generally completely free for me (you as the subletter) to use solo during the weekdays+nights and on weekend days we co-exist in the space.
The building is very well maintained and it is such a pleasure to work in this space.
It feels like an extension of my living room.
There is a sink and kitchen set up with a kettle to boil water and plates, cups and cutlery to use.
It is very close to two L stops the Morgan and the Montrose.
The space available is the images in which you see the red door, and the photography backdrop. A large space with two walls to work against and floor space to spread out on.
I am an Australian artist who relocated to New York in 2014 to pursue my art career. I have been living and working in Brooklyn since and based out of my studio for most of that time.
I make tintype photographs a 19th century photographic process. I teach workshops here in new york and internationally as well as working on various creative projects.
