Spring is coming to the Catskills!

We are currently looking for monthly, weekly or weekend spring season renters for this fully furnished free standing cottage in the town of Woodstock. The adorable, thoughtfully renovated cottage is a short walk to the heart of Woodstock Village, 15 minutes by car to Saugerties or Kingston and in the foothills of the Catskill mountains.

PRICING:
$3000/month (with 1 month security for rentals more than 1 month)
$850/week
$200/night Fridays and Saturdays
$150/night Sundays-Thursdays

*we will gather possible renters within a few days of the post here, the longer and/ or more immediate stays will be considered first but we will communicate and try to work with all requests*

Set back from the road adjacent to a field this cottage is nestled within the collection of small arts and crafts cottages which surround village of Woodstock. Perfect for those who can work from home or those looking to take a break in the country.

The screened in-porch in the front leads into a light and spacious open plan dining/living room with dark wood beams and accents, skylights and large windows allowing the nature outside to surround you while you relax. Painted hardwood floors throughout the bedrooms and living room. Outfitted with large antique dining table that seats 4 as well as a 60” TV and Sonos sound system for nights and days in. Large, separate eat-inkitchen w/ breakfast bar and paned windows that open to the porch and brand new stainless steel appliances, 5 burner gas stove and oven, microwave and refrigerator. Mini-split A/C heater units throughout make it easy to adjust the temperature, ceiling fan in the living/dining circulates the air. Treat yourself to a bath in a deep claw foot tub with widows on the foliage.

The second floor has a cozy TV room, and separate loft work space with a desk, shelves and reading nook. Enjoy morning coffee or evening cocktails with friends on the screened porch or on the outdoor seating area on the wood deck. Candles and LED solar string lights give you a soft glow at night. Take a nap in the hammock (within WiFi range) so you can watch the deer graze on the adjacent field or anything you want on a device.

A private and quiet oasis surrounded by green yet only minutes to great restaurants, shops and the activities of our quaint, historic town at the gateway of the Catskills. Walking distance to daily buses to/from NYC and outfitted with personal antiques and details from my family’s collection. Idyllic and accessible, the perfect home away from home. Enjoy some R&R in the country.

Please note that there is no dishwasher and no washer/dryer at the cottage but there are laundromats in Woodstock and Kingston,
both which provide drop off services.
