I am subletting my very comfortable and nicely decorated one-bedroom apartment in a fun and beautiful neighborhood while I'm away on sabbatical. The apartment is fully equipped with all necessary things in bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, office, record player, and Hi-Fi.
The building is one of those original tenement buildings from the early 1900s. Very well kept and has very nice neighbors. The apartment is up on the 5th floor and not accessible. It is very quiet and facing three different directions and has amazing light during the day.
It is very comfortable for one person or a couple
to work and to live. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable, there are basic office equipment and supplies.
Lower East Side is the most fun, cool, inspiring, historically significant, and convenient neighborhood. A lot of galleries, cafes, food options, and nightlife. In the midst of this craziness, my apartment is on the 5th floor facing the backyard so it is very quiet and has amazing light. It is also very convenient to work in.
It is close to the subway and walkable and bikeable from pretty much all interesting destinations in the city.
There is a modest silver rooftop with a few foldable chairs, great to relax a bit during during the sunset with beautiful views of the manhattan and brooklyn.
