Part-time childcare provider

We are looking for a part-time childcare provider (21-24 hours/week) for our 18 month old daughter, starting ASAP. Chrissy is starting a new job as a nightshift RN and will need closer to full time coverage (7:30am-4:30pm, M-F) for the orientation period (2/3-2/14), transitioning to 3 days/week after then. Hoping to have someone start part time ASAP for a transition period so our slightly shy toddler can warm up to new caregiver over the course of a few weeks before my orientation begins.
Ideal candidate will be:
Warm and engaging/playful
Reliable and communicative
Comfortable with attachment style approach to parenting, including supporting to sleep for naps
Have a few references (2-3)
Background with arts, music, dance, crafts, etc. a plus!
Rate is negotiable
About Us
We are a family of 4 located in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, right by the botanic garden and Brooklyn museum. We have a 6 year old son, Charlie, who won’t be needing childcare but will be excited to meet anyone who takes care of his little sister, Beatrice, 18 months. Beatrice is a curious, active and silly toddler who is a bit shy when meeting new people and would benefit from someone who is skilled at bringing a very attached toddler out of her shell. Bea loves dance parties, chasing her family with hand puppets, dogs, and climbing. Chrissy and Jack (the parents) work as an RN and an attorney for a healthcare nonprofit, respectively. We’re looking forward to finding a new caregiver to work with!
