Hello! I have a room opening up for sublet starting May 1st in my bright and spacious 2 bedroom/1 bathroom apartment. Just one block from the Myrtle-Broadway J/M/Z station and a 15 minute walk from the Morgan Ave L station, this apartment comes with a fully furnished living space, including a large couch, tv, and dining table, as well as a full kitchen with a dishwasher, as well as all the cooking-ware and utensils you may need! The bedroom comes with a full-size bed frame but is otherwise unfurnished, and both the room and the living space have huge windows that let in tons of natural light throughout the day.

The apartment is located in the beautiful Saint Marks building which is an old church renovated to be an apartment building. This building features a virtual doorman, elevators, rooftop access with an amazing view of the city skyline, and laundry. The neighborhood is full of amazing food and numerous grocery stores and supermarkets all in walking distance.

The apartment has central AC/heating - Utilities are not included in the rent.

I currently work for a foster care agency in the city which is a hybrid position so sometimes I work from home and other days I’m out at the office. I plan on attending graduate school for social work in the fall.

I’m a pretty active individual in my free time. I play soccer a few times a week, enjoy the gym, playing the guitar and creating music, and meeting up with friends to explore the city.

I consider myself to be a pretty quiet and respectful roommate. I prioritize a neat living environment. I live a sober lifestyle (no drugs or alcohol) and like to maintain a party-free living environment. I am looking for a subletter that will respect this living environment.
