Hey! I’m looking for a new roommate to share my two-bedroom, one-bath apartment in a pre-war building on a quiet street in North Greenpoint.

The apartment is on the first floor, but the room faces a backyard so noise is rarely an issue. Room is 14x8 at its widest with plenty of room for a Queen-sized bed, desk and dresser. Generous closet with additional storage space above.

A bit about what I’m looking for:

—Someone easygoing who enjoys a quiet, relaxed home.
—Clean and tidy — it's important to me that communal areas (living room, kitchen, bathroom) are kept neat.
—Must love animals! I’ve got a sweet older cat who’s very social. My sister also lives in the building with her two dogs and they like to come visit on occasion.
—Ideally no full-time work-from-home folks, but I'm willing to be flexible.
—I travel for work once or twice a month, so someone who does the same would be a plus.

I'm a 30-year-old transplant from Texas who has lived in Greenpoint for five years and in this space for four of them. I work from home most days and travel semi-frequently (roughly once a month) for my job in the media industry.
