We are two white cis-women in our mid/late 30s looking for a roommate to share our beautiful and quiet apartment!

One is a professional musician who practices in her bedroom the clarinet a few hours a day, a few days a week, depending on her schedule (she’s also regularly out of town for work). The other is an actor in school and working as a bookkeeper. Both of us are out of the house a fair amount of the week, and one is out a fair amount of the weekend.

We are looking for someone who is clean, responsible, queer-friendly, and who has had positive experiences living with roommates in the past. We are fairly busy and don't spend a large amount of time together socializing in the house, but when we do cross paths we enjoy chatting and get along very well. We keep our shared space tidy and clean with a 2 week rotating chore chart. Our roommate is leaving with their cats and we’d be excited to welcome someone who owns cats!

The room for rent is the larger room in the apartment and has it's own bathroom. The other two roommates share a separate bathroom. We have in-unit laundry and dryer. The apartment was renovated 2 years ago and all appliances work great. We have a front porch where we often like to sit and eat/read/work when the weather is nice, and a back brick patio with space for gardening. (The landlord would love it if someone wanted to plant things!) Our landlord lives on the floor above us and is VERY nice. We are on the ground floor of a three-story house on a VERY friendly and quiet block. We have a block party every year, and a large WhatsApp group of neighbors on our block who share info and resources which is very nice.

Heads up, most of the furniture is being taken by our roommate who is leaving, so we will be starting fresh! But the aesthetic you see in the photos is in line with what we like, though we welcome any furniture if you have some!

Move in date is potentially flexible within a few weeks either side.
