Our Crown Heights apartment has it all - great food and bars down the block, a roomy space to come home to, high ceilings and lots of light, and trains everywhere nearby.
The rooms: The apartment is on the second floor of a walk up with a railroad style layout and bedrooms that are on opposite ends of the apartment. The living room is large and always filled with a couch, table, and plants, and often additionally filled with movie nights, books, and friends over for dinner. The bathroom is spacious, you'll never be bumping an elbow turning around. The kitchen has a gas oven and stove, and enough counter space to prepare food for ten. The bedroom has a full bed and room for a dresser and desk or cozy chair, and has shelves and a closet. The apartment is fully furnished and there are plenty of healthy house plants, but would love your touch and presence to fill the apartment as well!
Within a block of the apartment you have your choice of laundromats, grocery stores, delis, and fantastic bars and restaurants.
The 2/3/4/5 are a ten minute walk down the vibrant Franklin Ave, the Franklin A/C/S are a 7 minute walk north, and the G is a healthy 20 minute walk away on a nice day or in a pinch. Prospect park is a mile away as well! As a runner, biker, and lover of a good neighborhood to wander, this is a great space.

Hi! I (Wil) am looking for a roommate to take over for my current roommate (Oliver). He's great, but off to explore his culinary dreams and maybe move in with his partner (updates to come there).
Some things to know about me! I'm a teacher in the South Bronx, I read around 50 books last year, I host 'Soup Nights' for my friends, and love to bike, run, and spend time outdoors. Oliver and I have a nice balance where the apartment is kept clean and organized, and we give each other grace when dishes are left in the sink once in a while.
My pronouns are he/him, I'm 28, and have lived in New York for four years (originally from Chicago, shoutout to the midwest). I'll likely be out of town for a good chunk of the summer for weddings, a bike trip around Ireland, and to see family.
