Seeking subletter for a bedroom (fits a Queen-sized bed) in a three-bedroom, rent-stabilized renovated apartment that's located in a six-story building with ramp and elevator (the unit itself is not wheelchair accessible). Ideally we're looking for someone artistic and creative to stay until the end of March. At that time the lease will end and you will have the opportunity to sign on the new one and further your stay, or continue on a month-to-month basis.
Move-in date is December 1st, but we're flexible if you need to move in a little earlier.
This bedroom has a high ceiling, one large window for sunlight, a window nook, a semi-full private bathroom (no sink but a shower and toilet). Additionally, there's a full bathroom, with a tub, right outside the bedroom in the hallway. It's perfect for singles!
The giant common room is furnished (dining table, a/c), and you are more than welcome to contribute items to the general vibe too. We want you to feel comfortable and at home; you may store items in the common areas and two front hallway closets. Additionally, there's a massive studio prioritized for research and work, with large East-facing windows, making the space beautiful in the morning and afternoon.
The kitchen is a cook's dream: a butler's pantry, a modern microwave and refrigerator, a dish washer, and storage space galore. Utensils and cookware are shared, and there's lots of room to store your food.
Your roommates — all three of us (one male, two females in their late twenties/early thirties) — are laidback and work in different fields of art. We are clean, quiet, respectful of space, and although socially responsible/distanced, we welcome guests post-COVID.
The apartment is within walking distance to LeFrak and Prospect Park, and five minutes from the B/Q at the Church Ave station (which will take you into Manhattan in about 20 minutes). Fort Hamilton Parkway F/G is nearby as well. You're in a residential area and steps away from bodegas, grocery stores, laundromats, restaurants, and shopping.
It's easy to find parking, though we do not provide nor do we have a garage.
Viewings are available.
Utilities are not included.
Don't pass up this gem!
You'll be living with a writer (male), set designer (female), and jeweler (female).
