I have a brightly-lit, 500 sq. ft. art studio that I’m looking to share with one other person, move in asap (but flexible on start date). The available workspace is in NoLita (North of Little Italy), near Prince and Spring streets. It is five flights up, with no elevator, measures approximately 150 sq. ft. plus 50 sq. ft. common space. (200 sq. ft. of the 500 sq. ft. total) and has two large windows. The space that is available to sublet is what is shown in pink the images. It will have no furniture. The furniture in the photos is for staging. Full use of the common area in the entrance that has a sink, bathroom, and kitchenette. The space is clean and non-toxic. There is Wi-Fi and 24/7 access. Reasonable electricity is included. For being in the middle of the city the place is pretty quiet. You can see the New Museum from the back east facing windows. If interested, please tell me a bit about yourself and how you plan to use the space. Thank you!
I’m a freelance graphic designer and a glass artist and teacher specializing on painting on stained glass. I’m usually either traveling for teaching gigs, working on my computer, or at my glass bench, which involves some tools, though it’s not constant. I’m not in the space very often, maybe a couple of days a month. I keep the space clean and tidy and will be respectful of your needs as well. Any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask!
