Apartments for Sublet
Traveling at the end of 2024/beginning of 2025. Subletting our sunny, spacious and cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment. The apt is located in Flatbush (more precisely Prospect Park South, two blocks South from the park) on the sixth floor of a building with an elevator. Besides the huge main bedroom and a second room that serves as office/bedroom, the apartment has a kitchen, separate dining and living rooms. Lots of light and plants. Washer/dryer in the building.
The building is located right on the border of Flatbush (named the coolest NYC neighborhood in 2024 by Time Out Magazine) and the historic district of Ditmas Park. Prospect Park is just two blocks away and you’ll get to the Brooklyn Botanic Garden and Brooklyn Zoo in just 20 mins walking. To the south, you’ll find Cortelyou Road with its many cafes/restaurants as well as supermarkets, farmer’s market (on Sundays), and other stores.
We’ll ask you to take care of the plants, watering them on a weekly schedule.

Rental requirements
Ideally monthly stays, although we’re open to discuss bi-weekly arrangements.
The monthly fee of $3,100 includes all utilities and a cleaning lady who comes every two weeks to clean up, change beddings, etc. She has a set of keys of her own. If you would like, we can arrange for her to come every week, but you'll need to cover that additional week at $100/visit.
Previous experiences have led us to ask for a deposit of $500. You'll have full access to all our appliances and stuff for the duration of the stay, and if everything's fine upon our return, that money will be immediately returned.
