Sublet our quiet artists' home just south of the Laurel district in east Oakland. This is a short term rental, for 3.5 weeks while we are away out of the country. We're asking $750 a week for dates within the timeframe, or $2000 for the entire 3.5 weeks.

5 minute walk to legendary neighborhood spot Vientian Cafe, and artisanal Donut Savant, and cute Brookdale Park at the end of the block. 15 minute walk to Macarthur with delicious Sequoia diner, Ghost Town Brewery Farmer Joe's Marketplace, and other shops.

Very cute and comfortable: a spacious house with all hardwood floors, a Nest heating and cooling system. 1.5 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, kitchen with dishwasher, living/dining room area, off street parking, and private sunny back yard with a persimmon tree. Fast Wifi, Playstation 4 with a projector connected to Netflix, Hulu, and Max for movie nights. Record player, cassette collection and audio system for listening enjoyment. Living room filled with comics, books and games.
