Come share my beautiful and bright apartment with high ceilings, arches and wooden floors. I am seeking a housemate for a 3-6 month sublet.
I am renting the large furnished bedroom to one person in an elevator building with steps leading up. This is a great living arrangement for someone looking for a simple space to relax and create. Your room is in the back of the home away from the kitchen with tons of light and storage. Park access is a few blocks away. There are tons of restaurants, laundry, and the Church Ave B/Q subway is a 5-6 min walk.
Rent includes private furnished room, with bed, desk, chair, dresser, lamp, closet, all household supplies (TP, hand/dish soap/cleaning products, supplies), water, trash, and heat, and shared use of entire furnished apartment: kitchen, bathroom, living room, art/project room as negotiated for work, exercise, or artistic projects.
Utilities (wi-fi, gas, electricity) are billed separately on a monthly basis.
I work from home part-time and have a preference to live with someone who is not always working from home. I like to keep the space tidy and clean, dishes done after meals, and to discuss a plan for shared chores and upkeep while we are living together.
Please share some details about yourself: what you are up to in life, do you work, go to school, have a significant other who will visit? Do you like to cook? Are you new to NYC? Been around a bit? How you’ll pay rent, and any other relevant info on why you’d like to share the space. Feel free to send a social media link, if you’d like.
The space is available Nov 1st.
Thanks for your interest!
