Hi! I'm looking for a new roommate for a Bushwick 2-bedroom at Troutman and Knickerbocker for April 1st. The rooms are on opposite ends of the apartment with a long kitchen/living room in between, so it's great for someone who wants a little more privacy with only one other roommate in a nice apartment without paying the high price of a studio.
The apartment is on a corner so we have windows in the living room as well as the bedrooms and an excellent roof to hang out on.
The apartment is also super central - right next to several 24 hour grocery stores, bodegas, laundromats, bars, restaurants, and Maria Hernandez Park. The L is 3 blocks away at Jefferson Street and the J/M/Z is about a 10-15 minute walk to Myrtle Broadway.
The room faces the backyard, and fits a queen bed, desk, and dresser. It also has a large double door closet. The living room is spacious and I'm open to switching it up if you'd like to set it up differently.
My name is Anna, I'm 34F and have been living in this apartment for 4 years and truly love it. I work from home and/or cafes and it's not a problem if you do too. I make trips to San Francisco every couple months for work, so I'm not around all the time. I am very active outside during the warmer months and am always going for long bike rides or going out with friends. At home I'm pretty quiet and usually working on art projects or building up my bikes. I have friends over a couple times a month for low-key hangs to chat and catch up, and would welcome a roommate who does the same. I enjoy chatting with my roommates and fostering a friendly atmosphere! LGBT and 420 friendly.
Utilities are around 100-150 per month and include internet, heat, and central AC. I'm looking for someone who could commit to staying through the end of the lease which goes through January 2026. If we get along well and want to stay, we can sign on for another year.
Send me an email with what you're looking for in housing!
Anna (34F, she/her). I'm from California and work in journalism, for a public radio station. After work I'm either hanging out with friends, working on some kind of art project, or outside biking long distances. I am pretty middle of the road when it comes to cleanliness, but I will absolutely keep any mess to my own room. Very respectful of roommates, amenable to others, and open to what makes a good living situation for everyone!
Leaseholder and tenant for four years
