Looking for the perfect place to stay in one of the most culturally vibrant and inspiring neighborhoods in New York? I’m offering my beautiful, spacious room for a 2-3 month sublease while I’m away for a project. Located in Bushwick, Brooklyn, this is an artist’s dream space, and I’m hoping to find someone who will appreciate and care for it as much as I do.
About the Room:
Spacious with exposed brick wall and high ceilings
Two large windows bringing in plenty of natural light, fitted with blackout curtains to match the room’s calming aesthetic
The walls feature my own artwork, creating a "mini museum" feel, with the hope that it will inspire your creative side during your stay
A peaceful, productivity-focused design—perfect for creatives
Fresh flowers in the room, with a vase ready for you to refill if you'd like
Plants that will need a little love while you're here
About the Apartment:
Shared with three talented artist roommates: a violinist, a singer who often goes on short tours, and a theater actor
Neighborhood with tree-lined streets; I often walk to the 24-hour bodegas nearby, even at night
Close to several great coffee shops, restaurants, and two parks (3 and 5 blocks away)
Location & Transit:
2 blocks from the J train (just 6 stops to Manhattan) and 13 minutes’ walk to the L train (11 stops to Manhattan)
Easy access to Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods in Williamsburg—7 stops on the J, or a quick ride on the L
3 stops to Myrtle Avenue, where you'll find the new Food Bazaar with a wide selection of international food options
Supermarket by the train station for easy shopping
*1 bathroom and half-bath
*Private Driveway Access
Convenient parking: If you have a car, you’ll have private access to the driveway, making parking in the city hassle-free.
I’m asking $1,400/month—someone I can trust to maintain the room and care for my plants. This isn’t just a room; it’s a sanctuary I’ve designed to bring peace and creativity, and I hope it will do the same for you.
If this sounds like the perfect place for your temporary stay, let’s connect!
