Hi there!
I’m looking to fill two rooms in a three-bedroom apartment on the border of Crown Heights & Prospect Heights. This will be my third year living here and I've really enjoyed getting to know the block – it’s the perfect mix of energy and quiet for me.
I’ve had a good experience with the landlord thus far and have found him to be responsive, generous. The unit is located on the second floor of a pet friendly building with great neighbors.
With just a five-minute walk to the 2/3/4/5, 15 minutes to the A/C (or a two-minute walk to a shuttle that connects to the A/C), I’ve loved how easy it is to get to virtually anywhere in the city. We’re also a 15-minute walk to Prospect Park straight down Eastern Parkway – on the way, you’ll pass the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens and the Brooklyn Museum, as well as a host of restaurants, bars, shops, and more.

Logistical info:
The rooms will be available January 1st, possibly earlier (and you’d be welcome to move belongings into the living room in advance to avoid the dreaded New Year’s Day move in)
Room 1 (larger): $1,230; has a NE facing window to the back yards. Fits a queen bed, comes with a full length dresser, can fit a desk and more.
Room 2: $1070; full disclosure, the window faces an air shaft, but there is still natural light. The room is quite cozy and outfitted with an Ikea closet system to optimize storage in the space; it can fit a full bed, dress, and desk, but is admittedly a bit snug.
I would also be open to renting both rooms, with the smaller as an office/closet space, and increasing my own monthly payment to accommodate – in this case, I imagine both rooms would go for a combined $2,200
The building is pet friendly; we’re on the second floor

About This Lister

A little bit more about me: I work in the hospitality industry. My schedule is flexible but will be gone most weekends. Aside from the job, I like to cook, watch all kinds of movies and go out with friends. I’m looking for someone that is reliable, responsible, and tidy – unlike most of the units in the building, our apartment has been updated in the past ten years or so, which means we avoid most pests like roaches & mice but are sadly still prone to the dust & grime that come with old buildings.
