We are looking for a lease takeover for this wonderful, sunny apartment in Bed-Stuy. Move in date would be May 1, and you would be re-signing a year lease starting July 1.

This is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom apartment on the fourth floor of a charming brownstone on a quiet street. The neighbors in the building are all friendly, quiet, and super respectful. There is a group chat among everyone for easy communication. Landlord and super and very responsive when needed.

The location is superb - at the end of the block is Thompkins Ave with a grocery store, laundry mat with wash & fold service, and plenty of adorable shops, restaurants, coffee shops, wine bars, book stores, etc. The nearest subway stop is the Nostrand A/C, about an 8-10 minute walk on quiet streets lined with brownstones.

This apartment get’s SO much beautiful light, from both the front and the back. There’s a huge living room area that can be divided up so you could make yourself a little breakfast nook, reading corner, or whatever else inspires you.

All bedrooms can fit a Queen size mattress along with a few other items, as you can see in the photos. We currently use one of the bedrooms as an office, but it has been used as a bedroom before and fits a Queen size bed with a side table. Each room has its own closet.

Right outside the unit at the top of the staircase is an open hallway that can be used for a good amount of storage.

The rent is $3700 and it’s up to you how you choose to split that - the landlord is fine with 3 people occupying the space, but I think he prefers that everyone at least know each other when applying. All utilities including internet are included in that price.

About This Lister

We have lived in this space for two years and have loved it, but are ready to move into our own apartments. We have both found places for May 1 and need quality sub-let options for to take over the last two months of our lease and re-sign with the landlord in July.
