Subletting my spacious, sunny one-bedroom apartment (with a home office) on the top floor of a brownstone in Sunset Park for a month while I'll be away at a writing residency. It's very conveniently located, about eight minutes to the 45th St R train, 15 minutes to the 36th St D/N express trains, three minutes to the park, and close to all sorts of food options. It's a great place if you need to work from home part of or all of the week, on a quiet, residential block.
I work as an editor at a magazine in New York, and have lived in this apartment for three years (and the city for twelve years). I've really enjoyed living in this neighborhood, and have found the apartment itself to be a really restful and productive space.
If you're interested in the apartment, I'm happy to chat and give you a virtual tour via Zoom or FaceTime.

The landlord, who is very nice and easygoing, lives downstairs and might want to chat or have you sign a sublease agreement before moving in. It would just be you and her in the building, though you would have a separate entrance. Utilities included, but might require a security deposit that will be returned at the end of your sublease.
