Hi, everyone! My husband and I are subletting our beautiful room in our 2BR from half November till the end of December, possibly with option to renew. This is a perfect location if you want to stay in Manhattan. Here are some details in the form of boring lists (but hopefully clear enough):

THE APARTMENT
- 1st floor walk-up
- Recently renovated
- Lots of natural light
- Great kitchen
-Spacious, luminous living room
- Fully furnished, including kitchen- and cookware
- Dishwasher in unit, washer/dryer in the building
- Very fast internet (effective speed: 500mbps down, 20mbps up)
- Smart doorbell with camera to enter the building
- Your bathroom (with a window) will be shared with only one other person, clean and respectful
- We took out individual A/C for the winter, but it's there if needed
- Bedroom is very spacious and furnished with rocking chair, big desk, built-in closet (built-in closet behind the mirror in one of the pictures)

THE BEDROOM
- Very spacious, which will allow you to have your own private space
- Fully furnished with a full size bed + mattress, rocking chair, big desk, chair, night stand, and plenty of storage (built-in closet behind the mirror in the pictures)
- Lots of daylight, many lamps for the evening, two layers of thick, light-blocking curtains
- Window A/C

THE LOCATION
- Less than 10 minute walk from B, D, 3 metro, less than 15 minute walk from A and C
- Bus (M10) in front of door
- 2 big supermarkets a 5- and a 10-minute walk away, 2 different delis 2 doors down
- Bars, restaurants, cafes, and drugstore all within 5 minutes walking
- Columbia: 35 minutes by metro (or 15 minute bike ride*), NYU: 40 minutes by metro
- Next to Jackie Robinson Park

LIVING DETAILS
- No smoking (of any kind) inside the apartment
- No pets (sorry!)
- Couples are welcome

You'll be living with our roommate Vinh, a a postdoc at St. John’s University. He works both from home and on location. He’s very quiet and considerate. The ideal roommate for him would be clean and organized, quiet, friendly and easy-going, and have minimal overnight guests.

About This Lister

My husband and I are graduate students in philosophy (Rutgers) and in music (Juilliard), and have happily lived in NYC since September 2023. We have found a place that is more convenient for us in location, so we are looking to sublet for the last period of our lease in this apartment. We can discuss the move-in date if necessary.
We would probably like to leave just a few personal items, but you´ll have (almost) all of the available storage space for yourself. You are also welcome to leave some stuff before you move in, if that is helpful.
