Enjoy a magical retreat Upstate on Oscawana Lake. This Scandinavian inspired cabin has been recently renovated and comes complete with a wood burning stove, floor to ceiling views of the surrounding mountains and the pristine lake.

Enjoy sunsets and the bright night stars on either of the two decks. Sleep nestled in the woods. Take a short walk to Oscawana Lake, which is believed to be a part of ancestral land of the Mahican Nation and named after Chief Askewanas. Enjoy cool swims in the spring fed lake. There are also many hiking trails nearby, including the Appalachian Trail, and the Hudson Highlands Trails which are walking distance from the house.

The house has one queen bedroom, one full bedroom, an office, a large living area, fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom overlooking the forest behind the house - for a true forest bathing experience! The home is ideal for 2-4 people.

The lake is private with a lovely park and beach to enjoy. There are two kayaks and two paddle boards available for exploring the lake.

There is good internet that gets 310 Mbps speeds.

The beautiful towns of Cold Spring and Peekskill are just a 20 mins drive away, Beacon is 30 mins. The house is a 1 hour 10 mins drive from New York City and the nearest train stations are Peekskill, Garrison and Cold Spring - a 20 min uber or local taxi from the station is possible. A car is recommended to enjoy the area and for groceries etc.
