Second floor (walk-up) of a small building with quiet and friendly neighbors.
The space is furnished, but not cluttered, with an open living and dining / kitchen floor plan. There is a mini-split AC wall unit with thermostat which cools the entire house nicely. Spacious bedroom and great office space for working remotely. Tons of closet space. Fast Wi-fi throughout.
The deck is right off of the open plan living/dining/kitchen space. It's a great apartment with loads of character on a very quiet street. The deck is enormous and lovely for grilling and hanging (no large gatherings or parties permitted - intimate gatherings are fine). I share the deck with our neighbors who are quiet and who I’ve known for 10 years.
Keypad security gate lets you in to a small courtyard and the building is set back on the street in a unique setting for Bklyn. Laundry is in the basement of the building.
We love the neighborhood because we have access to everything Greenpoint and Williamsburg have to offer, but we're out of the fray and securely within the peace and quiet. Loads of walkable great restaurants, coffee shops, and a great grocery store with the friendliest staff just a block away. We’re a 5-minute walk from the Greenpoint Ave G and a 10-min walk (just over the Pulaski Bridge) from the Jackson/Vernon stop on the 7 (only 1 stop to Grand Central),
