Fancy a bit of winter magic upstate?! Of course you do.

Willow House is an 1800s farmhouse beautifully renovated with classic style and easy comfort in mind. A very sweet acre of pretty land surrounded by hundreds of acres of conservation and farmland.

This peaceful, quiet spot with a little creek running through it is a jewel in a sea of green. While you can't see or hear any neighbors, you might see Eric come by to bring hay to the alpacas, cows, and goats down the tree-lined lane. As quiet and private as it is, it's super close to many amenities in the nearby towns of Red Hook, Tivoli, Kingston, Germantown, and the beauty of the Catskills.

This is not an accessible home as the one bathroom is upstairs, and being an old house, those stairs are pretty steep, although rails on either side of the staircase help elders and kids stay safe. Hardwood floors throughout. This is a family home that we take very good care of, and we want to sublet to chill people who will look after the place like it's their own, who are maybe looking for an escape to the country for a spell. About This Lister

We are a queer family unit of 3 who split our time between upstate NY and Brooklyn. Your contact will be Westlake (she/they). We have a 5-year-old and a one-year-old, and they are happy for your kids to use books, toys, and highchair if you need them. We like farmers' markets, travel, and hiking. We work in public radio and a creative agency working with nonprofits and foundations. Our home is spotlessly clean and comfortably furnished with a mix of modern and antique, which we take very good care of and would want you to, too. No pets, please, unless you can really sell us on your four-legged friend.
