We (two female creatives in their late 20s) are looking for a third female or non-binary roommate to join our sun-filled apartment in Bushwick. Our lease renews December 1st, we would prefer someone looking for a 4-month to one-year sub-lease. Right in the heart of Bushwick, we are right next to wonderful bars and restaurants and only a 5-minute walk to the Morgan L. We live in a rent-stabilized building with kind neighbors, and we know the neighbors on our floor quite well. The apartment is equipped with a brand new microwave and dishwasher, baseboard radiator, and a new heater in the available room. The room has two large windows and an incredible view of the city. We are on the top floor of the building (thankfully it has an elevator) and have a large private rooftop furnished with a picnic table. Three washers and driers are down the hall, paid for by an app ($2.75 per load).
Our third roommate is moving out for an artist residency in Europe at the end of October, so November 1 move in! Ideally, we would love someone courteous, kind, and clean. One roommate is an artist who mainly works at a studio and one is work from home freelancer. We do a great job of keeping the space clean and cozy, we do entertain guests sometimes, but not too often, love to catch up when our schedules allow but have the perfect balance of space when we need it. We would love to maintain this vibe with our newly added roommate! No pets allowed as one of us is very allergic, so sorry.

I do cook sometimes, but also clean up after myself and am conscious of when others need to use the kitchen. I have lived in this apartment for almost 5 years, it is a wonderful home and it's been a great joy to become friends with the different roommates we have had over the years.
