I have a small (furnished) one bedroom apartment in Glendale for sublet. The apt is for single occupancy and no pets are allowed. Utilities are included in the rent. The closest train is a 17 minute walk to the Fresh Pond M. The Q55 bus runs regularly down Myrtle (it takes you straight to the M/L at Myrtle-Wyckoff), and there's an express bus that runs into the city everyday. Small bedroom with full size bed, dresser, window and good size closet. Medium sized living room. Large-ish kitchen. Cute vintage bathroom. Laundry 1.5 blocks away. I have a laundry cart for use. Windows in every room but the apt doesn't get direct light. There's a decent grocery store 1 block away, and a Stop n Shop 6 min away. I love this neighborhood, but some people consider this 'out there' location wise. I personally love it, and it's right next to Ridgewood with all the foodie/coffee/vintage spots. Ideal if you have a car.

My situation is I'm looking for a subletter while I go out to LA for work. Ideally I want to get my foot in the door in LA, and if that happens, I'd be open to some sort of month-to-month sublet after that- or a lease takeover. My lease technically ends in May. I'm looking for someone responsible, clean, and low key who will respect the apt and my neighbors. No couples please. Kindly respond with a little information about yourself. You would be signing a sublease agreement. Required to move in: one month's deposit plus one month's rent = $2900.
