Im afraid I lost my home and everything I own in the Altadena fires. I’m seeking a living space somewhere in LA county to stay close to my music gigs. I do have quite a few asks to make it a perfect fit, but I’m super flexible and adaptable and would love to hear of any ideas you may have.
My ideal space (ie the one that just burned down) is a 2 bedroom domicile of some sort (apartment/house/backhouse/bungalow/duplex/etc) with a yard area, preferably fenced off, and a garage or large shed I can work in. $3k is the top of my monthly rent budget. I love history, so vintage/MCM is a plus.
I know it’s going to take a minute for things to settle down and see what survives this disaster, so I have patience, but I’m eager to find my new dream home and get back to normal ASAP. Please let me know if you can help 🙏🏻
About me: I’m 40 years old and an artist and performer from MN. I’ve been living in LA for about 8 years now and I never want to leave. I sing 1950’s rock and roll/swing with several groups, I love to bake, knit, draw, sew, all the things 🎨 My main job is making fairy wings that are then shipped to and sold at renaissance festivals across the country (hence the need for a workspace).
I have 2 Furbabies, both rescues. A 25-30 lb Jindo named Betty and a 10 year old tabby cat named Henry. Everyone has been fixed and is up on their shots.
I’m clean, quiet, considerate, will make you all the cookies and help keep the property beautiful in any way I can!
