Hi everyone! I am an artist, curator, and publisher based in Berlin. I used to live in nyc, but moved here about two years ago to pursue a research fellowship. I am very excited to return to New York for two weeks to be an exhibitor at the Pioneer Works book fair (dates a little bit flexible, but need to include the weekend of the 7th)
About the flat:
1 spacious bedroom w/ office nook (queen size bed)
1 large living / dining room (with couch that pulls out into another bed)
1 standard kitchen (oven, stove, toaster, coffee equipment, fridge, small freezer, blender)
1 bathroom with bathtub
Balcony!
It's located on a quiet street in neukölln - one of the most fun and lively neighborhoods in Berlin! 5 minutes walk to both the S-Bahn (overground ring around the entire city center) and the U8 (subway) with a bus stop also at the foot of the building. 10 minute walk to the massive 'Tempelhofer feld' park, which has amazing sunsets, roller skating, urban gardening, etc + Kornerpark, a smaller green space with a bar and gallery. I also live right on the edge of schillerkiez, a very cute area for vintage shops, wine bars and cafes.
It is a pet free and non smoking household. I have a nice projector which you can use during your stay :)
Feel free to get in touch with any additional questions! I would love to swap with someone in Brooklyn or Manhattan looking for a Berlin wintertime adventure!
I am an artist working mainly with video and installation around themes of interspecies relationality. I also run a small publishing project and travel frequently to attend book fairs :) I am very interested in interior design and take great care to curate a comfortable and beautiful living space!
I am the current tenant of the flat
