I’m looking to sublet my precious room in PLG/Flatbush for two and a half months. The monthly rent is $1,250 plus $150 for utilities. While I would love to find someone who can cover my room for the full two and a half months, I know that might be difficult. I need a renter for the first month, but beyond that, I am flexible in terms of length of stay. For stays over one month, all days beyond that month will cost $50/day(rent+utility).
It’s a cozy, completely furnished room in a 2B1.5B apartment, along with a fully furnished kitchen(dishwasher, electronic stove, oven, microwave) and lovely living room. The building is brand new, with a laundry room, Gym, elevator, rooftop, and public lounge. You will have your own toilet but will be sharing the shower with one Queer artist(they/them). 3mins walk to the nearest subway2/5line, 15mins walk to B/Q line, Bus comes through just downstairs, 5mins walk to Food Bazzar(pretty large grocery market). The building is on a lively street, and the neighborhood is friendly, sometimes with a little music and parties around. Prospect Park is a less than 20-minute walk or 10-minute train ride.
To secure the place, I would need the 1000 deposit upfront, which you will get back when you are leaving. I will be traveling out of the country, so I can't have you deserting at the last minute. Email me if you're interested, and we can have a chat about house rules.

I am a freelance illustrator who has lived in NYC for over three years. This is my first year in PLG/Flatbush. My room is great for anyone who recently moved to the city to get a head start or needs a homely place to experience the spring days in NY.
My roommate is an artist(Tattoo and illustration) who works at her tattoo studio for half the week. We are neat, clean, organized, and respectful people. The same is expected of you—no parties or random people coming overnight. Small pets are welcome!
