Hello!

I'm an actor and I'll be doing a play in NY this spring. I'm no longer NY based, so I need a place to stay. My dates are somewhat flexible as I can stay with friends when I need to, but I'd love to find something that's at least one month (two or three is even better!). And I'm not too picky when it comes to location.

I'm specifically looking for a 1br or studio, however I'm not opposed to more bedrooms! I'm not interested in a shared space.

Ideally, I'd love to find a situation where I can take care of your pets / plants / apartment in exchange for my stay, or a hugely reduced rent. I've been a pet-sitter, house-sitter, and plant-sitter for about 17 years now (I was also a nanny in NYC for 13 years) and I pride myself on my standards when taking care of other people's spaces/ things/ animals. I'm a bit of a clean freak, but I also appreciate it if your place has a lived-in vibe. I'm happy to have as much or as little communication as you like.

I've been on Trusted House Sitters for a few years now and have sat for cats, dogs, bunnies, and livestock all over the US and UK, with a 5 star overall rating. I'd be happy to send over a link to my profile so you can see people's reviews.

I'm an actor and I'll be doing a play in NY this spring! I lived in Brooklyn for 13 years, and recently relocated to the south, knowing I'd still be coming into the city here and there for jobs.

I love traveling and luckily I do get to travel a lot for work. One of my favorite ways to meet new people, hang out with animals, and save money when I travel is by pet-sitting. I've used Trusted House Sitters for that for a few years, but I've noticed there aren't a lot of longer term listings in NYC on THS so I'm hoping I can find some here.
