We're looking for someone with communal living experience to live in our big, queer house in Brooklyn. We have 1 nice sized, light-filled 141 square foot room available on the second floor of our house and has 3 south facing bay windows and a large west-facing window, hardwood floors, and closet, and it can fit a queen, dresser, desk, chair, etc. Bathroom w/tub is shared with two roommates. $900 per month.

We share the large kitchen, living room, yard, firepit, front porch, washing machine and clothes lines for drying, as well as basement storage. There's an apartment in the basement with its own entrance and kitchen, an attic with its own bathroom, one half-bathroom on the first floor, one on the second, and 4 single rooms on the second floor. There are currently 6 roommates are in their late 20s-early 40s, 2 working from home.

The house is set between the 2/5 at Sterling and the B/Q at Prospect Park. 10 minute walk to Flatbush with lots of veggie/fruit markets, restaurants and the entrance to Prospect Park at Lincoln rd. It's a quick bike ride or train to Grand Army for the farmer's market or the library.

You: Queer and/or Trans, experience with living in a group situation and a desire to live communally. Into pets, but don't have one. (We already have 3 cats.) Committed to keeping common spaces clean and doing chores. Plan to stay in the house for at least a year. Body/sex/kink positive.
