This is a part-time, temporary position that will end in the early summer. Three six-hour shifts per week, including Saturdays and Sundays. Duties include assisting our manager in the store with customer service, packing and shipping orders, and inventory maintenance. Extensive knowledge of knitting techniques and yarn specifics is mandatory. Experience working in a knitting store or other retail environment is preferred.

Argyle Yarn Shop has been a community favorite providing knitting, crochet, and embroidery supplies for thirteen years in lovely Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. The shop is spacious and inviting, with a wide range of beautiful, high-quality yarns. We also hand dye our store brand, Luminous Brooklyn, in our studio behind the shop.
