Beautiful ground-floor apartment in a super central location between Santos, Principe Real, and Cais do Sodré. The apartment has its own entrance from the street and is incredibly quiet.

There's a living room with a desk, a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, and a small private patio with an outdoor shower for the hot days. No dishwasher in this apartment, but there's a washing machine. Great light during the day even though it's a ground floor. Perfect place to stay if you want to experience living in a historical (but renovated) typical Lisbon apartment!

This apartment is perfect for a couple or two friends who don't mind sharing a bed. You enter the bedroom through the living room, so there would not be a lot of privacy if you wanted to have more than two people in the apartment.

Technically, someone could sleep on the couch, although I'm not sure this would be the most comfortable arrangement. I have a big blow-up mattress I can provide if needed, although I'd prefer no more than two people in the apartment.

Out of respect for my neighbors, I'm only looking for quiet, clean people. If you're coming to Lisbon to party, this is not the place for you. Most of my neighbors are artists from all over the world -- writers, painters, etc. so if you're also an artist, you'll fit right in.

There are a few supermarkets a 5-minute walk away from the apartment, and a lot of amazing restaurants and cafes. I took these pictures a while ago (I no longer have the same carpet, and there's now a TV in the living room) but will be happy to send over a video later on to anyone interested. I'm just finishing repainting the whole apartment this month!

I was born and raised in Lisbon, but mostly live in Berlin these days, which is why I can be so flexible with the stays in this apartment.

I'm frequently looking for swaps with NYC and Tokyo so if you have a place in one of those cities, let's talk :)
